By the time a sale completes, the buyer's advisers usually will. They'll have spent months on it, with fresh eyes and every reason to look hard.
We're building a way to look first.
Request a pilot placeThe idea
Your buyer will commission their own. And when their surveyor finds the damp, he doesn't send you a quote for fixing it. He sends your solicitor a lower offer.
So run the survey on yourself, early enough that the answers are still worth having. Not a list of everything that could be better. A list of what a buyer would actually raise, which is shorter and far more useful.
What we believe
Most diligence output is a list of things that went wrong, with somebody's name against each one. That's a useful document if you're the buyer. It's a dispiriting one if you're the person who built the business.
Ours doesn't work that way. Nothing it reports assigns blame, and nothing dwells on how long something has been sitting there. Every finding arrives as a question, with an owner and a decision attached. You finish with a set of decisions you've made, not a longer list of things you haven't.
The pilot
It works from what you already have. The model, the board packs, the management accounts, the contracts. There's no questionnaire to fill in, no data room to assemble, and nobody taken off their job for a month to gather things up. You grant access to material that already exists, in your own environment, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.
What you get back is the buyer's view of your business while there is still time to do something with it, and you get it before anyone else has seen it. You also get a say in what this becomes. Pilot businesses shape what the report covers and how it reads, and that goes straight into the product.
We can only take a few at a time, and it isn't generally available while the patent applications are pending. We're looking for groups somewhere between one and three years out from a sale.
Nothing you give us trains a model. Nothing is visible to anyone else.
Like any survey, it is a considered opinion at a point in time, not a guarantee that nothing else exists. It is not an audit, and it is not legal, tax, accounting or valuation advice. Where a matter calls for those, you should take them.

If it's a fit we'll come back to you. If it isn't, we'll tell you that too.
